Dashboard

The Dashboard is your central command center in PerXL, providing comprehensive insights into project performance, team productivity, and organizational health. It offers two distinct views tailored to different user roles and requirements, along with access to detailed reporting capabilities.

Who can Access Dashboard?

  1. Any user role with the required permissions to access dashboard and assign dashboard view. Administrators can configure custom roles with these permissions.
  2. Anyone can access dashboard in the current section if they have the access to view it.

Note: Please see the Settings section of PerXL hierarchy to find out more about who can access dashboard and who can edit or change dashboard properties.

Accessing the Dashboard

How to access the Dashboard?

  1. From the home page, locate the sidebar menu on the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on "Dashboard" in the sidebar menu.

  3. A new dashboard page will open, displaying your project and organizational insights.

Dashboard Overview

Once you access the Dashboard, you'll find a dropdown menu at the top offering two distinct dashboard views:

  • Project Dashboard - Focused on project-level insights and team productivity metrics
  • C-suite Dashboard - Executive-level view with high-level organizational metrics and budget analysis

Project Dashboard

The Project Dashboard provides comprehensive insights into project-related activities, team productivity, and task management. It offers detailed metrics that help project managers and team leaders monitor performance and make informed decisions.

Checked-in Users

Displays the total number of users currently checked in to the system.

Action: Click to view a detailed list of all checked-in users with their check-in times.

Idle Users

Shows the total number of users currently in idle status.

Action: Click to see all users who are currently idle and their idle duration.

Average Productive Hours

Average number of productive hours across all team members.

Average Idle Hours

Average idle time across all team members for better productivity analysis.

Task Management Insights

Task Management

Tasks without Assignee

Number of tasks that currently have no assigned team member.

Action: Click to view the list of unassigned tasks. Clicking on individual tasks will navigate you to the respective section where the task is located.

Users without Tasks

Number of users who currently have no assigned tasks.

Action: Click to see a list of users and their workspaces where they have no current task assignments.

Note: These metrics help identify resource allocation gaps and ensure optimal task distribution across your team.

Project Health Monitoring

Project Health - Workspace Level

Provides a comprehensive overview of project health across different workspaces:

Workspace Health

  • Workspace Name - Name of the workspace being monitored
  • Status - Current health status of the workspace
  • % Completed - Percentage of tasks completed in the workspace
  • % Behind - Percentage of tasks that are behind schedule

Detailed space-level project health metrics:

Space Health

  • Space Name - Individual space identification
  • Status - Health indicator for the specific space
  • % Completed - Completion percentage within the space
  • % Behind - Tasks lagging behind schedule in the space

  2. Click on the button to open a new page dedicated to real-time team monitoring.
  3. This page is part of the Reports section and offers advanced filtering and monitoring options.
